Mohamed Al-Zawawi, 1936-2011

After more than half a century of creativity and excellence, on the 5th of June- 2011, Al-Zawawi left peacefully leaving behind an arts heritage and a unique style considered a revolution in the world of caricature.
Al-Zawawi’s drawings and paintings speak for themselves. They draw attention to unseen details and trigger our minds to think while laughing, about the issues he is depicting.
